22nd April 1pm at St.Alban’s Church Hall join us for our AGM. Maybe you’d like to join our Board too? Do you want to make a difference in Highgate? Do you want to help a grassroots community organization grow? Highgate Community Support Limited (HCSL) is looking for dedicated, forward-thinking individuals to join our Board.

About Us

HCSL is a community-led organization dedicated to providing essential services, fostering local connections, and advocating for the residents of Highgate. From sustainability initiatives to social outreach programs, we sit at the heart of Highgate, working in partnership with other organisations and services here.

The Role

As a Board Member you’ll help guide us, keep financial stability, and act as an ambassador for Highgate.

HCSL is registered as both a Private Company Limited by Guarantee (Company No: 11673612) and a Registered Charity (Charity No: 1185938). This means a board member is legally both a Company Director and a Charity Trustee.

To find out more see the UK government’s guidance: The Essential Trustee: What you need to know, what you need to do (CC3)

We are particularly interested in working with people who have skills in:

  • Planning & Governance
  • Financial Management or Accountancy
  • Community Engagement & Social Impact

Why Join Us?

  • Influence the projects that improve life in Highgate
  • Connect with fellow professionals and community leaders
  • Build your skills with us
  • This is a voluntary role requiring approximately 4–6 hours per month, including quarterly board meetings no experience required, just enthusiasm

Commitment to Diversity

We believe our board should reflect the community we serve. We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, ages, and experiences. No prior board experience is necessary—we value your professional skills and your “lived experience”.
